With the introduction of the Swirl Plugin API, creating browser extensions has never been easier – try it today!
Developer Resources for SDesk.
SDesk is an open-source Linux distribution that relies off of third-party SDKs to maintain seamless compatibility with other members of the Linux family. The two main SDKs for Linux are GTK and Qt. Steve Studios recommends the latest stable versions of both.
If you plan on integrating your new app closely with Linux and/or aren’t too worried about porting to other platforms like Windows or macOS, GTK may be your best option. Otherwise, Qt (Specifically Qt Quick) is usually what we recommend – Especially if you are just getting started making Linux apps.
